Chocolate cake, yes, but without butter!

It's not really butter that scares us at the moment between the cookie and banana bread recipes but as we have time to cook and there are some shortages we thought it was the opportunity to reveal this little magic recipe to you!
And if you pay attention, you will discover a preview of a little piece that will be released in a few days!!

To you stoves!

For this recipe you will need:

  • 200g of dark baking chocolate (one bar in total)
  • 3 eggs
  • 100g caster sugar
  • 1 small zucchini (approximately 200g)
  • 70g flour
  • 1/2 sachet of yeast
  • 1 pinch of salt

Start by preheating the oven to 180°C.

Melt the tablet that you have broken beforehand in the microwave or in a bain-marie.
Meanwhile, whisk together the eggs and sugar.

Peel the zucchini and grate it. Add it to the egg-sugar mixture.

Once the chocolate has melted, pour it into the mixture and then add the flour, yeast and salt, while mixing. This will prevent lumps from forming.

Pour the mixture into a mold. I buttered and floured it beforehand but if you want to make a 100% butter-free recipe I think that works too.

Bake for about 25 minutes.

And there you have it! A nice chocolate cake, less heavy because there is no butter and quite light in the mouth. It is not at all sickening!
The recipe is easy to make and don't hesitate to have your guests guess the secret ingredient, guaranteed success ;)
