WELCOME HOME
Eleanor
Hello Eleonore, thank you for agreeing to welcome us to your home for our first edition of “Welcome to your home”, can you introduce yourself?
Hello, my name is Eleonore, I am 34 years old, I am the mother of 3 little girls, and "welcome home" come in, please.

Tell us about your job. What do you do for a living?
I joined the Rendez-Vous à Paris team, a production house - based in Paris ;) - which works for beautiful houses like Guerlain, Dior, La Prairie, Longines….
I have always gravitated towards the production field, it is the playground that I prefer and I feed on my career in Brand Content to take on new challenges. I am a bit of a live wire to be completely honest.
After my 3rd pregnancy, I wanted adventures and I decided to set up with Guillemette Brisson, founder of Rendez-vous à Paris, a creative agency that represents different talents called Grands Boulevards . I deeply believe in the wealth of talents and encounters and I like the idea of setting up tailor-made teams to respond to tailor-made creative briefs.
Can you tell us a little about your apartment?
I live in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, I love this city , I love its architecture, its energy, its noise. It's a city that I miss when I'm far away ;).
My apartment is a family cocoon where I live with my 3 daughters, Rose, Adèle and Ysé and my husband. It's a joyful mess (it's always a bit of a mess).
I am a fan of colors, patterns so it was obvious to me to put them everywhere, in the entrance, in the girls' rooms, in our room. Each room has its color, its universe, but the colors that predominate are green, blue and pink, my 3 favorite colors.
I was raised by a mother who was an interior designer, so every detail is important to me, from the cupboard handle to the mirror, each detail is thought of as a separate element.
I have a butterfly addiction, I have them everywhere in every room of the house, these insects fascinate me, their life cycle is amazing and I am amazed by their incredible diversity. I think I must have been a butterfly in another life.

What are your inspirations/moods for getting dressed in the morning?
In the morning, it's a rush, with 3 children, we don't really have time to think about ourselves. At the same time , my look is my signature.
I love dressing up and I attach a lot of importance to my appearance. I am very observant in the street, in the metro, on social networks, nothing escapes me and I scan everything I see.
I have a closet that is overflowing with ultra simple pieces, through to more original things. I like the combinations of colors, patterns. It defines me.
I don't have a particular style. I'm both preppy and boho chic.
I grab one piece and then have fun finding the rest.

Your favorite piece from EC? And what would you wear it with?
I love everything about Elise Chalmin, it's too hard to choose... No, really I love the floral Josette blouse that I like to match with everything, jeans, a sweater from Katia Sanchez and a pair of boots.
Your favorite brand for kids?
A good address for a cool restaurant Raoul in Paris or elsewhere?
I love going out! If you only asked my husband, he would tell you that we go out too much ;)
My favorite addresses in Paris?
- Chez Willette , rue de Trévise, is my canteen. I don't think there's a single person I haven't taken there. I like to go there for any occasion: birthday, dinner with friends, girls' dinner... The place is nice, the team is great and it's so good.
- Le Café Compagnon , rue Leopold Bellan. I love the menu and I would give anything for the carrot parpadelle. Just thinking about it makes me hungry.
- I am a fan of Asia, I love the culture, the smells, the food. I like going to Bleu Bao , the place is beautiful and I love their Hong Shao eggplants, they melt in your mouth.
- Otherwise there is a restaurant that I love but unfortunately too far to go there all the time, it's Mayzou in Cap Ferret.
I love everything there, too bad I can't teleport because I would eat there at least once a week. Everything is tasty, beautiful and good.

Can you give us your favorite recipe?
I have 1000 but if I had to pick one I would say my husband's Asian broth. He cooks like a god.
- 1 clove of chopped garlic
- 1 bunch of spring onions or scallions and 2 shallots
- Ginger
- 2/3 tbsp soy sauce
- Coriander
- Asian basil
- Vegetables: carrots, mushrooms, turnips, zucchini
- Chinese dumplings
- 1 stock cube
Chop the spring onions, garlic and shallots. Brown them in a pot with a little olive oil for 1 minute.
Add the chopped ginger. Add 1L of water and the stock cube. Let it set then add the coriander and basil.
Let simmer for 20 minutes then add the vegetables. Let them soak up the broth.
Add the soy sauce. Once the broth is finished, add the Chinese ravioli.
I personally buy them at these two addresses in Paris: Maison Huang , 5 rue de L'Echiquier (incredible Asian supermarket, you can find everything there) and Sweet Raviolis , 178 rue Montmartre (you can eat in or take away): they are crazy!
Sprinkle with coriander and you're done.
I like to have different sauces and toppings on my table and the guests finish their broth with their own sauce.

Your Proust madeleine?
The smell of eucalyptus instantly takes me back to my childhood. Those endless summers where we're in swimsuits until late at night. I have a house in the south of France, more precisely in Porquerolles where I have a great group of friends. I love this place deeply. When I'm feeling down, I close my eyes and escape there.
