Good things are coming

The seasons go by but the desire is still as strong. The leitmotif has not changed: to transmit our daily optimism, our love of colors and things well made through our collections of prints and exclusive pieces.
Because the pattern has always been Elise's trademark, we're revealing a little behind the scenes of the creation for this latest collection.

The first inspirations come from the images that Elise feeds on a daily basis through Instagram , Pinterest and of course in everyday life. Very sensitive to design, craftsmanship and the world of art in general, there is still a part of spontaneity in Elise's work. A kind of instinct that always guides her towards colorful ranges, sometimes bold, but always relevant.

When the moment comes when Elise asks us if we have seen her tablet stylus, it signals the beginning of the design of the next collection. A real tool dedicated to creation, she draws dozens of patterns on it. Elise uses the Adobe Illustrator Draw application. It allows her to draw initial elements and then quickly create a repetition and thus give her a quick idea of ​​the rendering.

This is how patterns like Daisy that you find on the Frida dress or the Moon pattern are created.

The patterns are then printed on silk twill which brings a lot of shine and light to our clothes. The Nouk pants are also quite impressive with their shine. No need for highlighter when you wear the Nouk stripe …

Sometimes, using more traditional mediums can give character to the pattern. This is the case of the design on the Les Fleurs t-shirt which was drawn with a felt pen on paper and then vectorized to be printed digitally. The treatment of the pattern with the felt pen then gives a retro side to this t-shirt that we like so much.
