Inspired and inspiring women
We did a little survey on Instagram to see if you would like a selection of pretty inspiring images.
You were 100% to answer "Come on, let's go" What enthusiasm! Generally, we get away with 78% that it's interested, and the rest ciao...
So, in addition to our small Instagram selection, we decided to write you an article about women, projects, objects that inspire us!
We'll let you discover it, don't hesitate to leave us little comments on what you think, it always makes us happy <3
House S
Let's start the story with this woman: Sibylle de Tavernost
After spending 8 years in perfume marketing development, Sibylle decided in 2017 to change direction and launch into design.
She launched Maison S and employed artisans from around the world to carry out her projects.
Maison S is a high-end decor brand and we fell for its elegant, soft, colorful and hand-made rugs .
Maison S offers custom-made furniture , made from high-quality materials and handcrafted by carefully selected artisans.
"I wanted to enter the world of design by bringing a certain sensitivity, emotion and humanity. This is the challenge that MAISON S wanted to take up. "
Emilie Bouguereau
Our second artist, a designer that we love, is the illustrator Emilie Bouguereau .After studying fashion and preparatory classes at the Ateliers de Sevres, Emilie Bouguereau worked for Renaud Pellegrino, a great designer of creative handbags.
For 3 years, Emilie has embarked on the adventure of entrepreneurship, creating watercolors sold as originals or reproductions on her website.
Today Emilie develops her illustrations on hand-painted porcelain . It's sublime and we want all the models, don't you?
Emilie works on the subject of nature, after having spent many years in the African jungle and we love it, she makes us travel and takes us into her colorful, soft, childish but not too much world, we really want it in a child's bedroom, don't we?
Julie Lansom
Julie describes herself as a photographer, designer in love with color.
Perhaps that says enough about who she is, and it's graphic enough for us to fall in love with her painting and design work.
Julie paints abstract landscapes that inspire us, and makes lamps with wires that drive us crazy. I'll let you discover this in pictures, it's much more telling.
Nina Kolchitskaya
The story is funny and it's a 2.0 story as we like them, because finally the internets are also a way to discover many artists. The story is when last June, I had the pleasure of going to see the Tree of codes show at the Opéra Bastille, offered by my best friends (cheers girls)
It was sublime and inspiring, a crazy scenography , colors to die for and of course the dancing, sublime! But this is not the story of Nina 's discovery, let's get back to our sheep.
I leave the theater, it was during the heatwave, and I come across a young woman , slender, elegant, with patent Carel shoes that I love! My gaze stops on her silhouette, how beautiful a woman is elegant in simplicity. Her image registers in my unconscious.
3 hours later, I spend my time watching Instagram stories of women who inspire me, then come the stories of Jeanne Damas , and there, I come across her videos on the girl from the opera, the girl with patent leather shoes, I click on her nickname and I discover her sublime, sensitive, elegant, soft and fine work. A favorite for her universe, the harmony of the colors used; her references to Cocteau , Picasso , the finesse of the line .
I'll let you discover
